Need a domestic shredding service?

As more people work from home, downsize, or have a clear-out, the need for domestic shredding is increasing. Households are holding onto more documents and papers containing sensitive or personal information than ever before, and identity fraud and scams are in the news daily. There are always people looking for new ways to exploit sensitive data, from personal documents to business forms and records. So how can you get rid of a personal or sensitive document securely, and be confident your data is safe? The simple answer is shredding.

The Trouble With Doing It Yourself

That leaves two options: hours spent feeding a home shredder, or turning to a shredding company. Anyone who has used a home shredder knows it's back-breaking work, and most machines aren't built for anything more than the odd letter.

The trouble is, many shredding companies only offer a commercial service. Those that do cater for households often charge commercial rates for it. We don't. Our domestic rates are designed to be genuinely affordable for individual households, not priced as an afterthought.

Drop Off at Our East Kilbride Centre

We offer a drop-off service at our East Kilbride Shredding Centre for domestic shredding, with prices as low as £2.00 per bag. A bag can be a standard bin bag, carrier bag, or archive box, and there are no weight limits on what you bring in.

Prefer a Collection?

If you have a larger volume, or a collection is simply more convenient, that's no problem. We offer a standard charge per location covering up to 10 bags or boxes, with any extras over that charged at £2.00 each. Collections run across Scotland, with a flexible schedule and pickups available throughout the day.

If you're working from home and need to shred confidential work documents, we can also provide a certificate of destruction, a guarantee that everything has been securely shredded, which you can pass on to your employer.
