Groundwood free misprint sheets and cartons of bleached / scan board. Free from any other type of paper or board. Can be bought in either full or part loads. The materials should free from wax, greaseproof lamination, gilt, & inks, adhesives or coatings that are insoluble.
Moisture levels permitted vary between 10% - 12% and the minimum amount of wires required is three per bale, however this may vary depending on the mill being supplied Please be aware of any non-paper components or any foreign matter in the recovered paper and board which, during processing, may cause damage to paper machines or interruptions to paper production or may reduce the value of the finished product e.g. metal, plastic, glass, textiles, wood, sand, building materials etc
Commonly used for: Can be used in both the manufacture of recycled tissue products that require whiter fibres and can also be used in the manufacture of new scanboard boxes, which can be used in industries such a pharmacuetical, food and industrial packaging.
Highlander tip: As there is a marked price difference between Lightly printed, Medium printed and Heavily printed scan-board, it is important to have agreed specification in place with the buyer prior to despatching any loads. A general rule is that Lightly printed Scan board should have between only 10 - 20% print on the board and be free of deep / dark colours.
